The 18-hole championship golf course at the Country Club of Hilton head is built around the pristine Low Country marshland and pine forests along South Carolina’s beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. The Country Club of Hilton Head Course has a variety of holes that offer a challenge for golfers of all levels.
Designed by Rees Jones, the 18 hole course is spectacular and the amenities at the Country Club of Hilton Head are endless. The Club offers a practice driving range and putting green as well as a practice chipping and bunker green. The Country Club also offers private lessons from PGA Professionals Chip Pellerin and Jeff Picus.
Playing a round on this exceptional but unexpected Low Country course with 14 doglegs and water on 16 of
its 18 holes is quite the golf experience. The Club course has proudly hosted the U.S. Open Qualifier twice – once in 1999 and again in 2005.
The challenging, but conquerable layout offers superb bunkering and elevated greens that present a unique set of opportunities to test a golfer’s skills. There are tons of new strategically placed sand in the bunkers all around the course around every green and at the corners of almost all of the doglegs.
The Country Club of Hilton Head is a must play during your visit to the Island and if you can’t bring your clubs, no worries, they have Cobra and Titleist rental sets available!
