The 3rd annual A.R.T. Art Recycled from Trash will once again be held at Picture This Gallery. Call for entries; Application Deadline: March 1, 2012. Submissions sought for A.R.T. Art Recycled from Trash. A Juried Exhibit running April 2nd through April 28th. All original artwork at least 75% recycled, re-used and repurposed from elements that were originally manufactured. Categories: two-dimensional art, three-dimensional art, clothing, jewelry, and utilitarian items. Applications can be downloaded atwww.picturethishiltonhead.com. Entries may be submitted on CD, non-refundable fee of $25 per item (2 maximum).

7:30am - 9:30am -Led by an experienced bird watcher, the mud flats, open fields and salt water marshes allows participants to see many different species of birds at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. Several species of shore birds can usually be seen in the mud flats in the salt marsh, while many species of wading birds could potentially be seen around the marsh and open fields. Space is limited to 15 (ages 12 and older). Participants are asked to bring their own binoculars and the program will be canceled in case of rain.
